Funding assistance.
Forge is a new programme, and we’re actively exploring ways to make it more accessible by subsidising and supporting places.
Funding Guide
Funding your place on Forge may feel daunting, but there may be more possibilities than you think. Our Forge Funding Guide is designed to help you explore where support might come from and how to ask for it.
Think about the people and organisations who already know you and your work - your choir, employer, university, local music organisations, trusts, professional networks or individuals within your musical community. You may be surprised by how many people would be willing to invest in your development.
Read the Forge Funding Guide, think widely about who might support you, and start the conversation.

We never want course fees to be the reason someone decides not to apply. That's why we offer a limited number of bursaries each year to help conductors access the programme.
The Forge Bursary Fund is available only to applicants who have been offered a place on a Forge course. If you've received an offer and feel a bursary would make a difference to your ability to join Forge, please complete the application form below before confirming your place or paying your course deposit.
All bursary applications are considered individually and in strict confidence. As our bursary fund is limited, we're unfortunately unable to support every request.
