Terms and Conditions.
Application of Terms
Forge Conducting Limited terms and conditions apply to all enrolments for our online courses.
Please note that enrolling in one of our online courses creates a contract with Forge Conducting Limited, company number 16556621, registered in England and Wales. The law of the United Kingdom will have jurisdiction over all contractual matters relating to our online courses.
The Start of the Contract
In these terms and conditions, Forge Conducting Limited will be referred to as “Forge”.
Upon email receipt of the Student’s confirmation of enrolment, a legally binding enrolment contract is enacted between the Student and Forge. The Student will be deemed to have received the Confirmation of Enrolment on the date on which the email attaching it is sent, if sent on a working day before 5pm. If sent after 5pm or on a non-working day, it will be deemed received the next working day.
It is the Student’s responsibility to ensure they have access to high-speed internet for the duration of the course.
Course Requirements
All Students are required to have access to Zoom, and a computer that supports this programme for the entire course duration, including outside of class hours.
Course Fees
All deposits must be paid via our website, which uses Stripe to process payments. Payment thereafter may be made in full or, if a payment plan has been discussed, in instalments by bank transfer or via the monthly link emailed to you each month. Upon enrolment, Forge’s Finance Team can clarify any payment queries.
Course fees must be paid according to the selected payment plan.
Payment Plan Liability
By choosing to pay by instalments, you agree to pay the full course fee as set out in your payment plan. The payment plan is provided solely for your convenience and does not reduce or cancel your total financial obligation.
If you withdraw from the course at any time, any outstanding instalments remain payable. Forge Conducting Limited reserves the right to collect any unpaid instalments by the same payment method used to set up the plan.
Any additional bank charges resulting from the Student’s payment method are the Student’s responsibility.
Additional Costs
Students are responsible for covering any additional costs for required equipment or resources.Â
Refund Policy
Cooling-Off Period
If you enrol on a Forge course, you have the right to cancel your enrolment within 14 days of payment (“cooling-off period”) and receive a full refund of all fees paid.
Definition of Enrolment
Enrolment is confirmed once either (a) full course fees have been paid, or (b) a payment plan has been formally set up and the first instalment successfully received. At this point, a legally binding contract between you and Forge Conducting Limited is established.
How to cancel
To exercise your right to cancel, please contact us in writing at [email protected]. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving your cancellation request.
Refunds to International payments
Refunds to international payments are subject to administrative fees, and exchange rate fluctuations will be borne by the student.
Force Majeure
Forge Conducting Limited will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from any event or circumstance beyond Forge’s reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to: natural disasters, epidemics or pandemics, acts of government or regulatory authority, labour disputes, strikes, power or internet outages, technical failures, fire, flood, war, or civil unrest.
In the event of a force majeure, Forge will make all reasonable efforts to continue to deliver the course (including through alternative means where possible). Where delivery is not possible, Forge may suspend or cancel affected sessions without liability for any losses or damages beyond a refund of any fees paid for sessions not delivered.
Withdrawal Policy
Students must arrange a Zoom meeting with the Directors of Forge (Greg Beardsell & Tori Longdon) before submitting a written withdrawal request.
Withdrawals must be submitted in writing to the Directors. You are not officially withdrawn until Forge acknowledges your request in writing.
Cancellation by Forge
Forge reserves the right to cancel courses at any time before the start date. In such cases, a full refund of fees will be issued.
Forge is not liable for any additional losses, damages, or compensation resulting from cancellation.
Refunds of international payments may incur administrative fees and are subject to exchange rate fluctuations. Forge accepts no liability for such variances.
Forge reserves the right to refuse or cancel an enrolment and terminate the enrolment agreement if:
a) Fees are not paid on time.
b) The student’s English is not sufficient to engage with the course content.
c) Attendance falls below 75% in any month without prior approval.
d) The student’s internet connection, digital setup, or computer literacy is inadequate.
e) The student commits serious or repeated breaches of Forge’s Terms & Conditions or Student Code of Conduct. The Student Code of Conduct can be viewed here.
In all such cases, full course fees remain payable.
